GRAU DATA presents its software solution XtreemStore in collaboration with ThinkParQ at the ISC (International Supercomputing Conference) in Frankfurt from 19th to 21st June 2017. The trade show presence of GRAU DATA and ThinkParQ will occupy one third of the exhibition booth of the Fraunhofer Institute (Booth J640) during the ISC.

GRAU DATA XtreemStore is a high-end storage management software. The solution is based on the proven HSM-software GRAU OpenArchive which has been expanded by the parallel file system BeeGFS from ThinkParQ GmbH. With the software bundle consisting of BeeGFS and OpenArchive, GRAU DATA provides a highly performant, scalable storage system at moderate cost in combination with the possibility to export rarely used data on cost effective storage media within one ‘Global Namespace’ to the user. The HSM software OpenArchive, integrated in the XtreemStore, enables the administration of very large and scalable archives with many hundreds of millions of files and petabytes of data.

In addition to XtreemStore, GRAU DATA presents its solution Parallel Data Mover at this year’s ISC. Parallel Data Mover was developed to enable parallel data transfer between Lustre and POSIX- or object-based backend technologies. The data are transferred via the HSM API from Lustre to POSIX- or object-based backends such as XtreemStore, Isilon, cluster file systems or NFS/CIFS-shares.
